I want to see more stuff on mine tooooo. I need to follow more fitblrs, but weeding through the thinspo is a pain in the butt.
I don’t ever post thinspo… Or any people, really. Occasionally some fitspo slips through because of motivational quotes included, but that’s really it.
I want to follow all of you.

making-grandpa-proud asked: How did you start to lose the weight..? I'm at your SW now but the doc says I can't run because It puts to much pressure on my joints.. Any ideas? Thank you!
Oof… this is a broad answer, but I will try to be as thorough as I can be without going overboard.
First and foremost… I kicked the soda and coffee. I had a SEVERE caffeine addiction and knew that if I didn’t just kick the caffeine all together, I’d never get rid of the soda(which was the worst part of the two). At the same time I did that, I was upping my water intake. If you’re at my starting size, chances are your recommended daily water intake is about 150 oz. Don’t worry if you can’t manage it all the first day, work your way up until you can. Water really does help you lose weight! For an added boost, drink ice cold water first thing in the morning (8 to 16 oz) to jump start your metabolism. I also found using MiO in my water at first helped me keep up with my intake until I was used to it.
I also cut out the junk from my diet. I stopped ordering pizza and chinese and fast food(my bank account AND my body both thanked me. The bank account went up, the scale went down).
If you’re looking for a low-impact workout because of your joint problems(I feel your pain.. I have bad knees and a bad back), and have a gym or can join one, try the recumbant bicycle, the ellyptical, etc. I ended up buying a recumbant for my apartment from walmart for under 300 and it works great for me.
I’m currently water fasting intermittently… I’m planning to hopefully do two five day water fasts a month, but fasting isn’t for everyone and it’s not something to just jump straight in to, or you’ll make it far harder on yourself than it has to be. If you want advice on water fasts, let me know :)
Hope this helped. If you ever have questions, or just need a pick-me-up, feel free to message me and I’m sure you will do great in your weight loss journey, just keep going!

nothing to do with weight loss… but I can’t stop laughing. God I hope this was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. xD
